This weeks blog is about Ahead Partnership and the work they do in schools. I spoke to Lola Wilson for this weeks podcast. The Parents Peer Support group starts again on Wednesday 4 January. Future podcasts guests discussed. This week I am going to start my first Facebook Live session this could be a fortnightly/weekly event depending on time.
I am looking for topics for the discussions on Facebook Live, for the Parents Peer Support coffee mornings and for podcasts. Any ideas please message me.

This week our parent peer support coffee morning was at Great Shakes in Bingley. I have recorded the session so if you could not make it you can hear the discussion.
The topic this week was Self Harm. What it is and how as a parent you can help your child if you discover they are self harming.
Thank you to all those that attended it was a good discussion and highlighted how prevalent this is for children not only in secondary school but younger.
I will be talking to Lola Wilson on 19 December to talk about what Ahead Partnership the charity she works for, does for resilience and helping children overcome mental health issues.
